Self-Test
The self-test can be used to reset the data options in the
Active profile. Unlike the Data ZAP command (see "Use of the
Data ZAP Command to Clear a Lock-up ADM" in the Troubleshooting
section),
which resets the
options to factory default values, the self-test resets all the data
options in the Active profile to their power-up (P1) values
without unplugging the ADM.  The self-test also loads the
power-up values for the profile independent data options
(speed, parity, and local mode) and the unstored data options
(local.cr local.lf, and local.erase).  Activation of the self-test
will terminate any voice or data calls in progress.
The procedure for self-test is described in the appropriate
User’s Manual as follows.
For the AT&T ISDN 7505/7506 terminal, see the User’s Manual (555-021-714).
For AT&T ISDN 7507 terminal, see the User’s Manual (555-021-715).
