Text Messaging
A cell phone feature that allows the user to receive short text messages on the phone’s display
screen/area. Message receipt is often accompanied by an audible alert, and the user can then dis-
play, delete or save the message. Text messaging is sometimes referred to as Short Message Ser-
vices (SMS).
