To select light or dark for a single document, follow these steps:

First follow steps 1 through 4 on page 4-4 to set the resolution to

fine.

Press 

to return to the function display.

Press 2. You see the following display:

Press the

cursor key to choose dark or the # cursor key to choose

twice to return to 

ready display.

Send the document.

To permanently set the contrast to light or dark, follow 

steps:

First, follow steps 1 through 6 on pages 4-4 to 4-5 to permanently
