 Phone Calls

While you’re on a call, you will see a number of onscreen options. Touch an option to select it.

 

n 

Touch 

 to turn speakerphone on or off. When speakerphone is on, the device’s audio is routed 

through the speaker instead of the earpiece.

Warning: Because of higher volume levels, do not place the phone near your ear during 
speakerphone use.

Note: When a Bluetooth headset is connected to your phone, you can route the audio through the 

Bluetooth headset (

), the phone earpiece (

), or the phone speaker (

). Touch one of these 

icons and select Speaker, Handset earpiece, or Bluetooth to change how the audio is routed.

 

n 

Touch 

 to mute the microphone during an active call. Touch again to unmute the microphone.

 

n 

Touch 

 to make another call separately from the first call, which is put on hold. 

 

n 

Touch 

 to toggle the appearance of the onscreen dialpad. You can use it during a call to enter 

additional numbers, for example, an extension or PIN to your bank account.

 

n 

Touch 

 to join two separate calls to a single 3-way call. This option only appears when you are 

connected to two calls at the same time.
