You can shorten the scan time and speed up Kaspersky Anti-Virus. This can be achieved by scanning only new files and

5. In the window that will open, on the Scope tab, in the Scan optimization section, check the
Stop scan if it takes longer than box and specify the scan duration in the field next to it.
