Category 5e Linejacks

Part of a wide range of structured cabling

products, these Category 5e linejacks may be

used with matching Category 6e Patch Panels or

as discrete components.

Available in single or twin outlet variants, they

meet the requirements of TIA/EIA 568-A-5 for

Category 5e.

For maximum ease of installation, wire

terminations are colour coded to T568B and the

jacks are supplied with cable ties and fixing

screws for standard backboxes.

As an additional feature, these Category 5e

linejacks feature anti-tamper screw caps. As well

as enhancing the look of the installed jack, they

are also difficult to remove without leaving

evidence. This can help discourage unauthorised

tampering with the jack; one of the main reasons

for post-installation problems with a structured

cabling system.
