When the man power swtch s turned on, the LCD
dsplays <PLEASE WAIT> frst, and then dsplays
<INITIALIZING...> untl the standby dsplay appears.
It s also possble to see the standby dsplay wthout
havng <INITIALIZING...> shown.
Dependng on the number of destnatons
regstered, after the man power swtch s turned
ON, you may not be able to perform operatons
usng the operaton panel when the standby
dsplay appears. If ths happens, wat untl the
machne responses to the key operatons.
If the Auto Clear functon s actvated, the dsplay
returns to the standby mode.
Log n mode s dsplayed only when Department/
User ID Management s set to <ON> n <SYSTEM
SETTINGS>. To log n or out, see “Department/User
ID Management,” on p. 1-11.
