External Monitor
The image on the observation monitor can be viewed on an external monitor.

• Before connecting or disconnecting the HDMI cable, be sure to turn off the retinal camera and
all other devices.
• Use an external monitor that conforms to IEC 60601-1 or IEC 60950-1. If you use a monitor that
conforms to IEC 60950-1, be sure to also use the isolation transformer that is designated by
Canon. For details, contact your sales representative or local Canon dealer.

The observation monitor of the retinal camera is not available while you use the external monitor.

Loosen the screw of the digital camera cover to slide the
cable stopper to the left.

Connect the HDMI cable to the digital camera.

Secure the cable stopper.

base of the HDMI cable, and then tighten the screw to secure
