Show Logging Buffered
The example is shown as CLI commands and as a web interface procedure.
CLI: Show Logging Buffered
The priority (that is, the number that is stated in angle brackets before each logging message,
for example, <14> in the previous example) is calculated by multiplying the facility number by
8 and adding the numerical value of the severity. If you know the priority, you can determine
the facility and severity in the following ways:
Facility = Priority divided by 8. The whole number is the facility. For example, if the priority
is 14, divide 14 by 8. The result is 1.75. The whole number is 1, which is the facility.
Severity = Priority minus 8. For example, if the priority is 14, subtract 8 from 14. The result
is 6, which is the severity.
