Create a Static ARP Entry
Use this screen to add a static entry to the ARP table. 
To add an entry to the ARP table:
1. 
Select Routing 
 ARP > Advanced 
 ARP Create.
2. 
In the IP Address field, specify the IP address to add. 
It must be the IP address of a device on a subnet attached to one of the switch’s existing 
routing interfaces.
3. 
In the MAC Address field, specify the unicast MAC address of the device. 
The format is six 2-digit hexadecimal numbers separated by colons, for example 
00:06:29:32:81:40.
4. 
Click the Add button.

Configure Global ARP Settings
Use the Global ARP Configuration screen to display and change the configuration 
parameters of the ARP table.
To display or change the parameters of the ARP table:
1. 
Select Routing 
 ARP > Advanced 
 Global ARP Configuration.
2. 
In the Age Time field, specify the number of seconds it will take for an ARP entry to age out. 
3. 
In the Response Time field, specify the number of seconds the switch will wait for a 
response to an ARP request.
4. 
In the Retries field, specify the maximum number of times an ARP request will be retried. 
5. 
In the Cache Size field, specify the maximum number of entries for the ARP cache. 
6. 
Next to Dynamic Renew, select Enable to allow the ARP component to automatically 
attempt to renew dynamic ARP entries c when they age out.
7. 
Click the Apply button.
