Any given character could be a printable character - ‘Print
Char’ or a special line-end character - ‘Line End’. It is also
possible for a character to be neither in which case it is
bypassed and not sent to the output stage.

When selected, the ‘Page End’ option will act as a form feed
and should only be associated with the form-feed byte
