Before you can begin the conversion process you need to copy the JDL’s/JDE’s
that you wish to import into Paris from the Xerox centralized printer onto the PC
running Paris. The files should be copied to the Paris/USR directory as this is the
default directory for the Select Files dialogue.

Select ‘Open’ from the File menu to display the Open dialogue.

Select the required file from the dialogue, then click on the Open button. The
JDL file is scanned and all the resources listed inside the JDL are displayed in
the Conversion Manager.
