Pages to Print
 (in the Paper/Output folder).
Enables you to ensure that special pages (covers, inserts, exceptions) are processed
correctly within a document. This feature becomes increasingly important as the number
of special pages programmed in a document increase.
When you use the typical print range functionality on most application’s Print dialogs,
the only pages of the job that are actually transmitted to the print server are those
specified on the Print dialog. If you want to print pages 25 through 50 of a 50-page
document, the print server only registers the job as a total of 25 pages. If, in your original
job, you programmed an exception page so that page 30 would print on blue paper,
you would need to recalculate and manually reassign the location of the blue page to
print on page 5 because the print server will not know that the first 24 pages of the
original document exist.
