Hardware error detected (on); ServerView detected a fault (blinking), check ServerView for service action. 
 
  Storage Subsystem Switches OFF 
9.1.4.
 
Temperature too high 
The temperature sensors have measured an extreme temperature (tolerable  temperature for operation 
see 
section 
” on page 5
) and the  server has shut down the system. 
Wait until the storage subsystem has cooled down. 
 
  System does not Start Up after New Drives have been Installed 
9.1.5.
 
SAS configuration incorrect (RAID controller) 
 
Call up the configuration menu and check the drive settings (device  configuration) and the additional 
settings (advanced configuration options). 
 
  Ready LED of the Hard Disk Drive does not Come ON 
9.1.6.
 
 
Check whether the hard disk drive has been correctly installed and locked  (see 
section 
” on page 21
). 
 
Hard disk drive or backplane is defective 
 
Replace the hard disk drive. If the ready LED is still OFF, the backplane is defective. Contact the 
service organization.
