END-OF-SALE AND END-OF-LIFE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE CISCO 
12000 SERIES 1-PORT OC-48C/POS LINE CARDS, FC CONNECTOR 
[OC48E/POS-SR-FC-B(=), OC48E/POS-LR-FC-B(=)] 
Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco 12000 Series 1-port OC-48c/POS Line Cards, FC CONNECTOR 
[OC48E/POS-SR-FC-B(=), OC48E/POS-LR-FC-B(=)]. The last day to order the affected product is December 27, 2001. Customers with active 
service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 in EoL product 
bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for Cisco 12000 Series 1-port OC-48c/POS Line Cards, FC 
CONNECTOR [OC48E/POS-SR-FC-B(=), OC48E/POS-LR-FC-B(=)]. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
