This document provides instructions on how to configure a core dump on a Cisco Gigabit Switch Router
(GSR) line card (LC).

There are no specific requirements for this document.

The information in this document is based on these software and hardware versions:

This document applies to all Cisco 12xxx series GSR routers

• 

 Caution: A core dump to the remote server can take anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes. The router is

inaccessible and does not forward packets at this time. Use this procedure with caution.
