Reason Codes

When creating reason codes, follow these guidelines:
Descriptions may consist of up to 40 alphanumeric characters. No 
punctuation or other non-alphanumeric characters are allowed.
NOTE:  For Chinese, Japanese, and Korean localized sites, descriptions may 
not appear correctly in IP Phone Agent due to the phone limitations on 
multi-byte characters. 
Do not duplicate reason code numbers and descriptions for any one agent 
state.
Reason code numbers must be between 1 and 999.
To enable reason codes:
1. Add at least one reason code.
2. Check the Enable reason codes check box, and then click Apply.
You can enable or disable reason codes for each agent state. 
To add a new reason code:
1. Choose the Logout or Not Ready tab, depending on the type of reason code 
you wish to create.
2. Enter a unique number and description for the reason code, and then click 
Add.
The new reason code is added to the reason code list.
3. Click Apply to save your changes.
To edit an existing reason code:
1. Choose the reason code you want to edit from the list. 
The reason code appears in the edit field.
2. Make your changes, and then click Edit.
The edited reason code appears in the reason code list.
3. Click Apply to save your changes.
To delete an existing reason code:
1. Select the reason code you want to delete.
The reason code appears in the edit field.
2. Click Delete.
The reason code is deleted from the reason code list.
