Enhanced Local mode
Cisco wIPS enhanced local mode software licenses are based on the number of local mode (data serving)
access points that are deployed in the network. The Cisco 3355 mobility services engine allows for the
tracking of up to 3000 local mode access points and the Cisco 3310 mobility services engine allows for
the tracking of up to 2000 local mode access points. The MSE virtual appliance can track up to 10,000
local mode access points, depending on the server resources. The licenses are additive.
