Special Rules for Upgrading to Controller Software Release 6.0.196.0
Caution
Before upgrading your controller to software release 6.0.196.0, you must comply with the following
rules.
Before you download a software image or an ER.aes file to a 2100 series controller or a controller
network module, use the show memory statistics CLI command to see the current amount of free
memory. If the controller has less than 90 MB of free memory, you need to reboot it before
downloading the file.
