The Cisco 1000 Series lightweight access point heartbeat timeout controls how often the Cisco 1000 
Series lightweight access point sends a heartbeat keep-alive signal to the Cisco Wireless LAN 
Controller. To configure the Cisco 1000 Series lightweight access point heartbeat timeout, use the 
config advanced timers ap-heartbeat-timeout command.
>config advanced timers ap-heartbeat-timeout <seconds>
Syntax
config
Configure parameters.
advanced
Advanced parameters.
timers
Network timers.
ap-heartbeat-timeout
Cisco 1000 Series lightweight access point heartbeat 
timeout.
<seconds>
Timeout period 1-30 seconds.
Defaults
30 seconds.
