To add a multicast router port, use the ip igmp snooping mrouter global configuration command on the
controller stack or on a standalone controller. To return to the default settings, use the no form of this command.

By default, there are no multicast router ports.

VLAN IDs 1002 to 1005 are reserved for Token Ring and FDDI VLANs and cannot be used in IGMP snooping.

The configuration is saved in NVRAM.

This example shows how to configure a port as a multicast router port:

Controller(config)#

You can verify your settings by entering the show ip igmp snooping privileged EXEC command.
