To display EtherChannel information for a channel, use the show etherchannel command in user EXEC
mode.

show etherchannel [channel-group-number {detail| port| port-channel| protocol| summary}] {detail|
load-balance| port| port-channel| protocol| summary}

(Optional) Channel group number. The range is 1 to 128.

Displays detailed EtherChannel information.

Displays the load-balance or frame-distribution scheme among ports in
the port channel.

Displays EtherChannel port information.

Displays port-channel information.

Displays the protocol that is being used in the channel.

Displays a one-line summary per channel group.

Cisco IOS XE 3.2SE

If you do not specify a channel-group, all channel groups are displayed.

In the output, the Passive port list field is displayed only for Layer 3 port channels. This field means that the
physical port, which is still not up, is configured to be in the channel group (and indirectly is in the only port
channel in the channel group).

Layer 3 port channels are not supported when the controller is running the LAN Base feature set.
