Overview
Bonjour is an Apple service discovery protocol, which locates devices such as printers, other computers,
and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System
(mDNS) service records. The Bonjour protocol operates on service announcements and service queries,
which allow devices to ask and advertise specific applications such as:
