PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The recommended replacement for the Cisco Airespace 4024 Wireless LAN Switch is the Cisco 4400 Wireless LAN Controller.
With the Cisco acquisition of Airespace, the Cisco 4400 Series Wireless LAN Controllers are the replacement products for the Airespace 4000
Wireless LAN Switches. For Ethernet and Power Over Ethernet functionality, the Catalyst 3650 (WS-C3560-24PS-S) is recommended. The
GigE modules (AIR-AS-GSX2=, AIR-AS-GTX1=) are specific to the Airespace 4024 platform and no replacement is available or required for
these product IDs.
Customers can use the Cisco Technology Migration Plan (TMP) to trade in products and receive credit toward the purchase of new Cisco
