Cisco Cisco Packet Data Gateway (PDG)

This command allows you to define rule expressions to match the Protocol Data Unit (PDU) length of SMTP
packets.

Exec > ACS Configuration > Ruledef Configuration

active-charging service service_name > ruledef ruledef_name

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt:

(config-acs-ruledef)#

[ no ] smtp pdu-length { operator pdu_length | { { range | !range } range_from to range_to } }

If previously configured, deletes the specified rule expression from the current ruledef.

Specifies how to match.

operator must be one of the following:

• !=: Does not equal

• <=: Lesser than or equals

• =: Equals

• >=: Greater than or equals

Specifies the SMTP PDU length (in bytes) to match.

pdu_length must be an integer from 1 through 65535.

{ range | !range } range_from to range_to

Enables or disables the range criteria.
