Configures MIP binding-update message related parameters.

Syntax Description

binding-update { max-retransmission num | retransmission-timeout seconds }

max-retransmission num

Default 3.

Configures the number of times the message shall be transmitted. num must be an integer from 1 through 5.

retransmission-timeout seconds

Default 2.

Configures the transmission timeout for the message in seconds. seconds must be an integer from 1 through
60.

Usage Guidelines

Configure binding update parameters.

Examples

Set the maximum number of times a MIP binding update message is transmitted to 4 with the following
command:

binding-update max-retransmission 4
