Exec > Global Configuration > Context Configuration > IP VRF Context Configuration 

configure > context context_name > ip vrf vrf_name

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[context_name]host_name(config-context-vrf)#

Enter a description for this VRF as an alphanumeric string of 1 through 63 characters. This text is case-
sensitive. If you add spaces between words in the description, you must enclose the text with double 
quotation marks (“vfr ent 022“). 

Use this command to add a textual description for this VRF. 

 

The following command adds a textual description to this VRF: 

description vrf-ent-022 arg1
