sctp-max-init-retx
This command sets the maximum number of retries to send the INIT datagram.

Syntax
sctp-max-init-retx value
default sctp-max-init-retx
value
Sets the maximum number of retries. This value must be an integer between 0 and 255.

Resets the default for
sctp-max-init-retx
to 5.
Usage
Use this command to set the maximum number of retries the SCTP layer should make to send the INIT
datagram to the peer to open an association.

Important:
Before using this command to set a value, you must disassociate the PSP instance with the
no
associate
command. When you have set the value with this command, then use the
associate
command to setup a
new association.
