This command allows you to configure the default APN to be used for the UE connections when the AAA server does 
not return the subscriber APN name in the service-selection AVP in RADIUS Access-Accept message.

Exec > Global Configuration > Context Configuration > Subscriber Configuration 

configure > context context_name > subscriber { default | name subscriber_name }

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[context_name]host_name(config-subscriber)# 

 

w-apn apn_name 

no w-apn 

 

If previously configured, removes the specified configuration. 

apn-name apn_name

 

Specifies the APN name. 

 must be the name of an APN and must be a string of 1 to 62 characters in length consisting of 

alphabetic characters (A-Z and a-z), digits (0-9), dot(.) and the dash (-). 

Use this command to configure the default APN to be used for UE connections when the AAA server does 
not return the subscriber APN name in the Service-Selection AVP in RADIUS Access-Accept message. This 
APN will be considered as the network to which the UE is connecting and used in the CPC request message 
towards GGSN.
