Configures the amount of time that must pass with no response before the system re-attempts to communicate with the 
GTPP back-up storage server.

Exec > Global Configuration > Context Configuration > GTPP Server Group Configuration 

configure > context context_name > gtpp group group_name

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[context_name]host_name(config-gtpp-group)# 

 

[ default ] gtpp storage-server timeout duration 

 

Restores the timeout duration to the default of 30 seconds. 

 

Specifies the maximum amount of time (in seconds) that the system waits for a response from the GTPP 
back-up storage server before assuming the packet is lost. 

 is an integer from 30 through 120. Default: 30 

This command works in conjunction with the gtpp storage-server max-retries command to establish a limit 
on the number of times that communication with a GTPP back-up storage server is attempted before a failure 
is logged. 
This parameter specifies the time between retries. 

 

The following command configures a retry timeout of
