Basic System Functionality Tests

Run the following tests to verify the basic functionality of the resident applications. 

If the actual results differ from the stated results, note the differences and attempt to 

troubleshoot the condition. 

 

1. 

Toggle the DHCT power by pressing CBL on the remote control. 
Result:  The power to the DHCT turns on if it was previously off, or the 

power to the DHCT turns off if it was previously on. 
Notes:   
 

2. 

Tune directly to a 1-digit channel by entering its digit on the remote control, 

and then waiting. Repeat with a 2-digit channel, and then a 3-digit channel 

(ResApp default). 
Result:  The channel tunes directly each time. 
Notes:   
 

3. 

Tune directly to a 1-digit channel by entering its digit on the remote control, 

and then pressing SELECT. 
Result:  The channel tunes directly. 
Notes:   
 

4. 

Tune directly to a 2-digit channel by entering its digits on the remote control, 

and then pressing SELECT. 
Result:  The channel tunes directly. 
Notes:   
 

5. 

Press Last on the remote control. 
Result:  The DHCT tunes to the previously tuned channel. 
Notes:
