At the ok prompt, type boot  unipack  –  install and then press Enter. 
Results:   
• 

The Application Server boots from the UniPack. 

• 

The Solaris OS installs. 

• 

All Application Server software packages install. 

• 

The Application Server key files restore. 

• 

The CDE window opens. 

Note:  The installation process may take more than 2 hours. Do not interrupt 

the installation process.

Did the installation conclude without error? 
• 

If yes, go to step 23, next in these instructions. 

• 

If no, contact Cisco Services for assistance. 

23. 

 

Log in to the CDE of the Application Server as root user. 

24. 

 

Follow these instructions to open a terminal window on the Application 

Server. 
a)  Right click on the Application Server desktop. 

Result:  The Workspace menu appears. 

b)  Select Programs. 

Result:  The Programs menu appears. 

c)  Select Terminal.

Type eject  cdrom and then press Enter. 

26. 

 

Remove the CD from the CD drive of the Application Server.

Go to Disconnect the UniPack From the Application Server, next in this 

chapter.
