Terminating the cmd2000 Utility
Complete the following steps to determine if any cmd2000 processes are running
and then to terminate them, if necessary.
1 If necessary, open an xterm window on the DNCS.

/pdt/bin/StopCmd2000Logging and then press Enter.

If you have a MAS server, refer to the documents supplied by Mystro to
stop the active cmd2000 processes on the MAS server.

If no, go to Back Up and Delete the copyControlParams File (on page 39).
4 Type ps -ef | grep cmd2000 again and then press Enter to confirm that all
cmd2000 processes are stopped.
5 Do the results from step 4 show that there are cmd2000 processes that are still

processes that may be running; then, repeat steps 4 and 5.
