Configuring the Backup

From the wizard’s first page, select Network File System.

Specify your Server URL.

In Folder, specify the name of the export which you prepared to store backups.

Specify Datastore Name. A directory with this name will be created automatically on your EXS
host under /vmfs/volumes/. Backups will appear in this datastore.

From the vSphere Client for each ESXi host enable Local Tech Support and Remote Tech Support. These

From the vSphere Client Home screen, select Inventory > Hosts and Clusters.

Select the host you want to configure and click the Configuration tab.
