Background
Beginning in the spring of 2007, U.S. Daylight Saving Time (DST) starts the second
Sunday in March (March 11, 2007) and ends the first Sunday in November
(November 4, 2007) in response to the decision by the U.S. Congress to extend DST
by 4 weeks.

providing that is required to implement DST. For Cisco, this patch affects the Rogue
Wave libraries that are heavily used by the DNCS. This patch is not included in any
other DST patch you may have received and installed, to date.
Cisco has determined that systems that run SR 2.7/3.7/4.2 software need to install

the SAI Tools patch in order to prepare the Rogue Wave libraries of the DNCS for
DST implementation. If system operators fail to install the SAI Tools patch, split
channel schedules will not be accurate. The saManager file is the only executable file
on the DNCS affected by this patch.
