Fiber Connections
Although the modules may be hot-swapped when service must be restored, it is
recommended that the chassis and modules are installed prior to powering up the
chassis.

the system. If fibers must be removed, it is recommended to disconnect power
prior to removal to minimize possible exposure to laser radiation.

CAUTION:
Use only SC/APC terminated fiber to connect to modules. Clean the
connector using recognized industry practices before connecting to any
module to prevent performance degradation.
