As of Release 7.5(1), though the above table remains accurate, the following large historical
tables are not purged by the system software but as a scheduled SQL Server Agent Job:
Agent_Event_Detail
Call_Type_SG_Interval
Dialer_Detail
Network_Event_Detail
Route_Call_Detail
Route_Call_Variable
Termination_Call_Detail
Termination_Call_Variable
Caution: SQL Server Agent Jobs are installed and enabled during the upgrade procedure.
These jobs should not be stopped while the system software is active. However, if the logger
and Administration & Data Server-hds component services are to be stopped for any
maintenance that will require more than one day, the SQL Server jobs must be manually
disabled using the SQL Server enterprise management tool. Later, once the services are
started, re-enable the jobs.
Database Administration Tool
The ICMDBA tool (icmdba.exe) is included with the system software and is located in the
\icm\bin directory. This tool provides a central utility that allows you to manage Unified ICM
database administration. Use this tool to:
Create, edit and delete central databases, local databases, and historical database for installed
Unified ICM customers
Resize database files
Recreate a database
Import/export Unified ICM configuration data to/from databases
View database properties
