How to Add a Column
To Add a Column
Step 1
Position the cursor where you want to add a column. If the column location will be the last column in 
the table, go to Step 3. Otherwise go to Step 2.
Step 2
If you need to make space for the column between other columns, select the columns that will be to the 
right of the new column and move them to the right, while keeping their alignment. 
You can do this by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking on each of the fields in each column that 
you want to move and then moving the cursor.
Step 3
Enter the new header and field information for the new column, align the new fields, and then align the 
column with the other columns. 
To align fields, select the fields while holding down the Ctrl key and then select Format > Align.

How to Delete a Column
To Delete a Column
Step 1
While holding down the Ctrl key, select each field in the column.
Step 2
Right click the mouse, and from the pop-up menu, click Delete.
Step 3
Select any columns to the right of the missing column and move them to the left to fill the empty column 
space, making sure the alignment remains between all columns.
