Making Calls using Favorites
Favorites are contacts that you designate as 
favorites by starring them. For more information 
about creating favorites, see “Favorites” on 
page 33.
1. From the Home screen, touch 
 Phone.
2. Touch  
Favorites to display favorites.
3. Find the contact and touch it to open the 
Contact entry.
4. Touch 
 to automatically dial the 
number.
Making Calls from Logs
Return a call, or call a number from a recent call 
stored in Logs.
Using Speakerphone
To use your phone hands-free, or to share a call 
with others, touch Speaker to turn Speakerphone 
On or Off.
Caution! Due to increased volume, do not place 
the phone near your ear when 
Speakerphone is On.
Answering Calls
You can answer incoming calls when the phone 
is locked or unlocked.
  Touch and drag the 
 Answer icon 
toward the middle of the screen.
Tip: Press the Volume Key to silence the ringtone 
for an incoming call.
Sending Calls to Voicemail
Rejecting a call sends the caller directly to 
voicemail, and stops the incoming call ringer. 
You can also choose to reject the call and send a 
text message to the caller.

Touch and drag 
 toward the middle of the 
screen.

the middle of the screen, then select an existing 
message, or Create new message.
