Customize WatchON 

Set up your phone to control your TV, Set-top box, DVR, Stereos, and other electronic devices. 

: Your TV or other device must be turned off to customize WatchON. 

1.  From home, tap 

 Apps > 

 Samsung folder > 

 WatchON. 

2.  Tap 

 Universal Remote Control > NEXT. 

3.  Turn off your TV and point the infrared transmitter on your phone at the TV. 

4.  Tap to select your TV brand and tap NEXT. 



  If your TV is not listed, tap SHOW ALL BRANDS to choose from a full list of brands. 



  If you are using a projector, tap I HAVE A PROJECTOR, and then choose the brand of 

projector. 

5.  Aim your phone at the TV, and then tap   Power to turn on your TV. Be sure the Infrared 

Transmitter on the top of your phone is pointed at the TV. 

6.  Confirm the codes: 



  If the TV turned on, tap YES. 



  If the TV did not turn on, tap NO. Try the next power button. Depending on the model of your 

TV, you may need to try several buttons to find the one that works. 

7.  If you have a cable/satellite box, follow the prompts to configure your phone to control the box. 

After customizing WatchON, you can use it to control your TV. 

1.  From home, tap 

 Apps > 

 Samsung folder > 

 WatchON. 

2.  From the WatchON screen, tap 

 Universal Remote Control to bring up the remote and 

control your TV.
