1.   In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Wi-Fi ➔ Option ➔ Find 

Hidden Network. 

2.   Enter the SSID name within the Name field and press 

the  key. 

3.  Highlight the entry and press 

(Connect). 

4.   Confirm the SSID field (the name of your Wireless 

Access Point) name is correct. 

5.   Select the Auth type field and select a security option. 

This must match the current security setting on your 

target WAP. 

6.   Select the Encryption type field and select an available 

option. 

7.  Enter your WAP’s password if the WAP is secure. 

8.   Press Save to store the new information and connect to 

the target WAP. 

Note: No prompt to enter the WAP key displays if this is the 

second time to connect to a previously accessed or 
secured wireless network. The WAP key is required 
when the device is reset using factory default settings. 

1.  In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Wi-Fi ➔ Options. 

2.  Highlight Wi-Fi Off and press the 

 key. 

Note: Use of wireless data connections such as Wi-Fi and

Bluetooth can reduce battery life and use times.

Recognition software, an advanced speech recognition 
software used to activate a variety of functions on your 
phone.
