When you have no service on your phone, you can manually 
set your phone’s clock-calendar for use by features such as 
Alarm and Calendar. 

1. From the PHONE SETTINGS menu, select Set Time & 

Date. The SET TIME & DATE menu appears. 

2. To set your phone’s current time, select Set Time. The 

SET TIME screen appears.

Enter the time in 4-digit HH:MM format. (Use leading 

zeros: such as “04” for 4 o’clock or for 4 minutes after 

the hour.)

Press the Navigation key left or right to select 

am or pm.

3. To set your phone’s current date, select Set Date. The 

SET DATE screen appears.

Enter the date in 8-digit MM/DD/YYYY format. (Use 

leading zeros: such as “05” for May or for the 5th day 

of the month.)

4. To save your Time and/or Date settings, press OK.

Enable (On) or disable (Off) speed dialing on your phone.

  From the PHONE SETTINGS menu, select Speed Dial. 

Select On or Off. 

Easily search for contacts and menus in standby mode, by 
pressing keys on the QWERTY keyboard.

  From the PHONE SETTINGS menu, select Quick Search. 

Select On or Off.

In standby mode, just enter the first few letters of a 

contact’s name, and then press the Navigation key up 

to find a matching contact.
