These options affect only 
the unit name used on 
the report but not the 
quantities. 

If you check either box, 
the report will not show 
subtotals for Cost of 
Goods Sold and Profit 
columns. 

 

Note:  Be sure to click the Select All buttons under the 
customers and items lists. Uncheck the Freight Amounts and 
Other Amounts options. 

3.  Select the starting and ending dates for the period you want 

to analyze. 

4.  Click the Sort button, and select Your Sorting Order. In the 

first Sort By field, select Profit Per Transaction; in the next 
field, select Date. 

 

All transactions with the 
same profit per 
transaction will be sorted 
by date. 

Set the Sort Order button  
to Descending (Z … A) to 
ensure that the highest 
profit value appears first. 

 

5.  Click Apply, and then on the next screen, click OK. 

 

Print 

6.  To print the report, choose Print from the File menu.
