Internal floppy drive 

runs continuously

1 Replace bad disk with known-good disk.

2 Replace floppy drive.

3 Replace logic board. Retain customer’s SIMMs, math 

coprocessor, and PDS card.

4 Replace floppy drive cable. See “Flat-Cable Assembly” in 

Take Apart.
