Fan

 

Replacement Instructions

 

The following instructions explain how to replace the fan in the PowerBook G4 (Gigabit 

Ethernet) computer.

 

• Soft towel or cloth, larger than the PowerBook

• Black stick (or other nonconductive nylon or plastic tool)

• Razor blade 

• Needlenose pliers

 

Before you begin, remove the following:

• Battery 

• Keyboard

• Modem

• Bottom case

• AirPort Card (if installed)

• Logic Board
