5 Install the CD-ROM 
drive on the drive shelf 
in the front position.
 
Note
 
: Set the SCSI ID 
number on the CD-ROM 
drive. Make sure the ID 
number is unique from 
any other internal SCSI 
device. Apple 
recommends SCSI ID 
number 5.
6 Reinstall the floppy 
drive on the CD-ROM 
drive carrier.
7 Reinstall the drive shelf 
and drives into the 
computer.
