Interrupt Feature (MIX LEVEL)
When the voice guidance of the navigation system
starts, the volume level of any currently playing audio
source is reduced automatically.
You can also adjust the volume level of voice guidance.

Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 2
seconds. The display changes to the SETUP screen.

Move the Flipper switch up or down to select MIX
LEVEL. Press the OK button or MODE knob to set.

Move the Flipper switch up or down to adjust the
volume LEVEL of NAVI Interrupt at your preference.
Press the OK button or MODE knob to set. The display
returns to the SETUP screen.

When the setting is completed, press the SETUP
button to return to the normal mode.
NOTES
• When the voice guidance of the Navigation system starts to
interrupt the audio the display is automatically changed to the
navigation screen.
• The volume level of the audio will be automatically reduced
when the voice guidance of the Navigation system starts.
• The voice guidance will be output from the front speakers
only.
• When connecting the external audio processor to the unit,
ensure the output of the voice guidance by connecting the
external speaker (KAX-551N).
Auto Volume Setting
This is a function that changes the Volume, Bass value
according to the car speed pulse for the compensation
of hearing by noise. The desirable compensation
amount can be selected from 6 patterns.

Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 2
seconds. The display changes to the SETUP screen.

Move the Flipper switch up or down to select AUTO
VOLUME. Press the OK button or MODE knob to set.

Move the Flipper switch up or down to select your
preferred Volume pattern (VOL 1: small compensation
to VOL 6: large compensation). Press the OK button or
MODE knob to set. The display returns to the SETUP
screen.

When the setting is completed, press the SETUP
button to return to the normal mode.
Setting the AUX Mode (V-Link)
You can input TV/video sound by connecting an optional
Ai-NET/RCA Interface cable (KCA-121B) or Versatile
Link Terminal (KCA-410C) to this component.

Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 2
seconds. The display changes to the SETUP screen.

Move the Flipper switch up or down to select
AUXILIARY INPUT. Press the OK button or MODE
knob to set.

Move the Flipper switch up or down to select your
preferred auxiliary mode.
Press the OK button or MODE knob to set. The display
returns to the SETUP screen.
OFF:
You cannot select an external input sound source.
ON:
You can select an external input sound source. You can
also select an AUX NAME for external input

∗ 1. Move the Flipper switch up or down to select the
AUX NAME on the SETUP display. Press the OK
button or MODE knob to set.
2. Move the Flipper switch up or down to select your
preferred name from AUX, GAME, VCR, TV and
MP3. Press the OK button or MODE knob to set.
AUXILIARY LABEL
You can select and set a name of external input when
Versatile Link Terminal (KCA-410C) is not connected.
AUX-1 NAME / AUX-2 NAME
You can select an AUX NAME when Versatile Link
Terminal (KCA-410C) is connected.
NOTE
When connecting the Versatile Link Terminal (KCA-410C), you
can set two AUX mode displays.

When the setting is completed, press the SETUP
button to return to the normal mode.

To adjust the volume, etc., first press the SOURCE
button and select the AUX mode, then make the
necessary adjustment.
NOTE
When using the Versatile Link Terminal (KCA-410C), you can
connect two external inputs. To select the mode, press the BAND
button on the unit.
