A simple way to make sure that you have the correct configuration for 
a parameter (data size, values, etc.) is to use the Class Instance editor 
in RSNetWorx software.

1. In RSNetWorx software, go online to 

your DeviceNet network.

2. Right-click the device and choose Class 

Instance Editor.

3. Type the class, instance, and attribute for 

the parameter.

4. To change the parameter:

a. Choose Set Single Attribute.
b. Select the number of bytes.
c. Type the new value in hexadecimal format.

5. To read the parameter, choose Get Single 

Attribute.

6. Choose Execute.

7. To change how output data is displayed, 

select the size and format.
