3.3.3 Video
The Video subsystem uses 4 or 8MB of “Shared Memory” from the System Main
Memory. The system supports true ZV port, Microsoft Direct 3D, simultaneous display,
monitor sense for auto display on boot and VESA Super VGA function call.
Supported Video Mode
The following is all the display modes supported by the Trident 8400 in LCD only, CRT
only, and simultaneous mode. The VGA BIOS will allow mode sets of resolutions
greater than the panel size but only show as much mode display as will fit on the panel.
Supported standard VGA modes:
