4. Enter the 4 digits of the new PIN code.

The new PIN code is displayed for a short period.

5. Enter the new PIN code again.

The PIN code is checked.

6. Press   and then press  .

The cordless phone now has the new PIN code.

You can set the cordless phone so that the PIN code 
must be entered to switch it on. This option is off by 
default.

1. Press   and then press   for 2 seconds.

If the programming security for the cordless 
phone is on four dashes are displayed. If so enter 
the PIN code for the cordless phone (default is 
0000).

2. Two dashes are displayed.

3. Enter 33.

The current setting is displayed (0 = off, 1 = on).

4. Enter one digit to switch the PIN security on or 

off:

‘0’ to switch security off

‘1’ to switch security on

5. Press   and then press  .

The security setting against switching on has now 
changed.

You can make sure that only you can program the 
cordless phone. You can set the cordless phone so that 
the PIN code must be entered to program it.

1. Press   and then press   for 2 seconds.

If the programming security for the cordless 
phone is on four dashes are displayed. If so enter 
the PIN code for the cordless phone (default is 
0000).

2. Two dashes are displayed.

3. Enter 34.

The current setting is displayed (0 = off, 1 = on).
